now means NOW. (Kids’ rooms, update)

So, since I last posted, about 11 hours have passed. You’ll see in the photos what we’ve accomplished. My husband returned from golf at about 11:45 am, at which point the kids had been working with me for 2+ hours on splitting up and weeding through their toys. Then there was lunch for the kids and my husband (I was a little preoccupied with enthusiastic cleaning), followed by a mess of moving, cleaning, organizing, sorting, disassembling, reassembling, discussing, agreeing, finalizing… not to mention a rewiring of a television, dvd player and surround sound system… pizza was in there somewhere, as well as break for the kids with a Spongebob movie.

We’re basically done. I think I need to get a couple of better looking picture frames as well as full length mirror for the guest room… And our daughter would like a new rug for her room. We are all tired, and thrilled. The house functions better, and it shows better too (we may need to sell it in the near-ish future). Our kids have a full week to get used to their new space and routine, before they start school.

When we want to do something, we do it. I love that about us.
